Thought I would catch one last autumn trip to Stirling before the winter
sets in. No trip to Stirling would be complete without visiting the
Wallace Monument. This would be my third time this year to visit it, climbing the 246 steps to the top never get any easier!

However, it’s good to catch a breather on the way up, as there
are three floors of some cool exhibitions to enjoy – including William
Wallace’s sword! Good place to also enjoy a coffee and little cake cosy café.

Brief visit also to the City Centre afterwards, to have an amazing hot
chocolate in Café Nero – looking out onto the Christmas tree and listening
to two auld guys busking, who were giving it laldy to some old Corrie
Jacobite number
